Meet Grady

The foundation of my work is built off of a sincere awe and appreciation for what it means to be human, and what it means to thrive as we work towards understanding and a sense of wholeness in our lives.

In my own journey the most helpful healing experiences have been ones that have taught me greater depths of understanding about myself, how to relate more deeply to others, and how to feel more connected to the world and the interconnectedness of all life.

I believe that we thrive as individuals and as a community when we are able to connect deeply with all aspects of what it means to be human. As such I offer different aspects of services to meet each individuals needs towards healing and development in their lives.  

 

I originally trained as a Feldenkrais Practitioner. The Feldenkrais Method® is a somatic education modality that evaluates how we as humans learn to move, think, and emote, in ways that become habits in the way we are both in our bodies and in how we relate to others.

 

I hold a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute where I studied in depth how the unconscious influences our decision-making process and relationships with others.

 

I have trained in Hakomi and its use of mindfulness in helping individuals have a deeper understanding of themselves and their experience through exploring their bodily sensations and emotions in the present moment.

 

My personal passions are for nature and travel, both of which I love dearly and influence my appreciation for the diversity of life that this world has to offer.
